Pleasant View Elementary is a K-5 school located three miles southwest of Antigo on County Highway HH in an agricultural setting. Our school population averages 130 students throughout 6 classrooms. The staff here at Pleasant View’s main focus is educational success. We believe that everyone is entitled to an education, that everyone should be valued and respected as an individual and that all individuals can learn. Our goal is to provide a safe and caring environment that will instill a desire to learn in all our students; education is truly a lifelong process.
Our students benefit from the many different features of our school, including a wildlife museum and a school forest with a nature trail. Students participate in art, music, physical education and guidance classes on a weekly basis. Students with speech and language needs are serviced here at Pleasant View through our district Special Education program. We also provide a classroom environment for special education students across the district to learn everyday skills in our house set up in the back of the school.
Pleasant View offers a variety of additional programs including a Student Council, Boys & Girls Basketball, Library Guidance, Reading Buddies and opportunities to work in the computer lab and with our iPad station. Pleasant View offers many opportunities for parent involvement, including a dedicated PTO group. Our staff is also supported by 2 assistants through our Foster Grandparent program.
The staff here at Pleasant View are proud of our students and their success; we look forward to working with them every day and seeing their amazing accomplishments as they strive for educational success.
